One thing that is true about life is that a person will have to go through something that they are going to have to "deal with it." Some will try to work around the situation, some will try to make the situation workable. In other words, you will have to come up with a solution to your situation what ever it may be and hope that it will work out in the end. One thing that a person cannot work out or make workable is their eternal account of sin. Many try to make sin workable by simply saying that their sin is not as bad as someone else or that they are generally a nice person so they are sure they are going to heaven. Gracefully, God allowed his son to die on the cross for the sins of the world, so that the power, stink, and consequences of sin can be destroyed for all that call on his name. In other words, He did the work, so that we could enjoy the privilege of working out this new underserved gift of salvation until Jesus comes to take us home with him. A verse I like is John 14:6 "I(Jesus) am the way, the truth, and the Life, no man cometh to the Father, but by me."
